This year, our opening keynote speaker, Lonnie Bunch, the 14th secretary of the Smithsonian Institution and Founding Director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture will lead a talk addressing the challenges faced by museums today which will be followed by a tour of the NMAAHC.
Conference proceedings are peer-reviewed and selected papers and sessions are published both online and in-print.
